Thanks for taking time to understand your Sheriff.

  I've been Dakota County Sheriff for the past 11 years, it's gone by so fast. To be clear, BS and fluff is not how I want to be reelected. I would rather let my job performance and experience be the judge. I'm asking for four more years. Many things have changed over 11 years, but my principles have not. Without going too deep into my philosophy, where the majority of folks simply are not interested in going, I'll touch on how my beliefs guide and direct me.

Over the past 15 years as a Sheriff.  Yes, I was also the Sheriff in Thurston County prior to serving here, I've learned the truth behind the old saying ...

"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." 

It really comes down some primary principles of any Sheriff's Office...

                                    Protect ALL people and property of  Dakota County

                                    Protect and serve our Courts

                                    Support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of  Nebraska                                             protecting Dakota County against ALL enemies foreign and domestic.

I am a member of CSPOA ( Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association) also the NSA (Nebraska Sheriff's Association) Please never hesitate asking me to elaborate on beliefs, I love sharing  my views on my Office.
